August Slam Goes “Under the Radar”
Congratulations to writer/director Matt Fisher and producer Aaron West for nailing 1st Place in the Audience Award voting for this month’s FilmSlam, Enzian’s monthly Sunday showcase for Florida-made indie shorts. Their UNDER THE RADAR, which tells of a man going to Dubai to build recreational submarines for thier tourist industry (!), scored an impressive win over five other worthy offerings from Winter Park and Orlando. FFF 2011 Now Open for Submissions!
Hard to believe it’s that time already, but here we are again. In case you missed it a couple of weeks ago, the 20th Annual Florida Film Festival (April 8 - 17, 2011) is officially open for submissions and Call for Entries are ready for action. April may seem like a long ways away, but before you know it, deadlines are hitting and you’re rushing to overnight your entry and filling FedEx’s pockets in late Fall.
