The Infidel

Pakistani-British family man Mahmud (comedian Omid Djalili) does his best to be a good Muslim, even if he’s a little lax in his observances.  One day his life is turned upside down after discovering the stunning news that he was adopted—and his parents were Jewish!  Mahmud’s real name?  Solly Shimshillewitz.  To reconnect with his real father in time, he has to become “more Jewish,” and the only person he can turn to in this uproarious comedy is Lenny (Richard Schiff, TV’s The West Wing), a curmudgeonly Jewish-American cabbie.
