SHERLOCK JR.

BUSTER KEATON DOUBLE FEATURE

Saturday (7/18) 11:00 AM
Monday (7/20) 3:30 PM

One Week

One of Keaton’s cleverest and funniest shorts, this amazing film finds Buster and his new bride with seven days to build a home from a prefab kit before their housewarming scheduled for Friday the 13th

USA, 1920, 20 MIN, UNRATED, DIRECTED BY BUSTER KEATON AND EDWARD F. CLINE

Sherlock JR.

Woody Allen’s THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO is a delight, but Keaton did it first. He plays a movie projectionist who daydreams himself into the films he is showing and ingeniously merges with the action on the screen.

USA, 1924, 40 MIN, UNRATED, DIRECTED BY BUSTER KEATON

THE WITCHES

Young Luke and his grandmother, on vacation in England, have just checked into a hotel. Also on the premises is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, a false moniker that hides the fact that the organization's members are really evil-minded, mask-wearing, child-hating witches! Anjelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson star in this award-winning live-action Roald Dahl adaptation produced by Jim Henson.
