Another Gay Movie

"A refreshingly CRASS, very FUNNY gay spoof of teen SEX romps!" – Michael Musto, The Village Voice

Outstanding Actor in a Feature Film Award (Michael Carbonaro) – 2006 Outfest: Los Angeles Lesbian & Gay Film Festival

Andy is your typical All-American seventeen-year-old gay virgin. Like everyone else, he's dying to have sex. Totally out of the closet and mad-crazy horny, this naive high school senior is caught in that awkward vortex between child and adult. Much to the dismay of his mom (who wonders why all her carrots and cucumbers keep disappearing), Andy spends much of his private time practicing for the big moment when he'll finally take the plunge. Andy is not alone. He attends high school with his three best friends, all of them totally out-loud-and-proud. Jarod is a buff, blonde varsity-jock stud. Griff is the valedictorian, sinewy sexy, and a closet romantic. Nico is the pierced alternative-kid gay-cinema expert. The guys all have one thing in common - they're all booty-virgins. Muffler, 18, the boys' bulldyke Casanova stud bud, delights in pointing this out. Muffler is a cheerleader-magnet with loads of sexual experience under her mullet. The final straw for the guys comes at Muffler's graduation party, where everyone is having sex but them. That night they make a pact to do "the big A" by the end of summer. What follows is a raunchy ride on the bumpy road to butt love. Along the way, the film spoofs not only American Pie and gay movies from Trick to The Broken Hearts Club, but also the entire gay lifestyle. After the end-of-summer blow-out bash at Muffler's, the boys' lives (and asses) will never be the same...Will Andy decide he's not ready for sex after all? Will Griff act on his raging crush for best friend Jarod? What is Nico doing with Muffler's grandpa? Will Andy get that gerbil out of his ass? Beneath the film's sex-romp exterior beats the true heart of the story - one of friendship and loss of innocence. Each character experiences his own rite of passage on a journey that spans from boys to men.

DUE TO ADULT CONTENT, NO ONE UNDER 18 WILL BE ADMITTED.

Best Documentary Feature – 2006 Newfest: New York City’s GLBT Film Festival

Audience Award: Outstanding Documentary Feature – 2006 Outfest

Florida Premiere!

CAMP OUT is a feature documentary film that follows ten Midwestern teenagers as they attend the first overnight Bible Camp for gay Christian youths. For these six boys and four girls, it’s just as hard to come out as Christian as it is to come out as gay. They’re caught in the battle between religion, politics and sexuality that’s raging in the United States today. These kids are outsiders – their straight classmates ostracize them and their churches reject them. But like all teens, they yearn to feel at home, somewhere. Struggling to find a way to be true to both their spirituality and their sexual identity, these teens come to camp hoping to finally find a place of acceptance.

50 Ways of Saying Fabulous

“A loving and astute portrait of queer adolescence, brimming with furtive sexual thrills, senseless peer cruelty, and perpetual identity angst.” – Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival

Set in the long hot summer of 1975, 50 WAYS OF SAYING FABULOUS is the beguiling story of 12 year-old Billy, who is about to discover that growing up is a lot more confusing than he could have ever imagined. He is a farmer's only son who is out of step with the other boys at his school. They only want to fight and play rugby; Billy tries to be the same, but feels he was never cut out to be a farmer or a rugby player. Instead, he would rather dream about an imaginary life in outer space. In this world, a turnip paddock becomes a lunar landscape and a cow's tail a head of beautiful blonde hair which transforms him into "Lana" the heroine of his favourite TV show. When Roy, arrives at Billy's school and Jamie the sexy young farm labourer comes to work on Billy's farm Billy's world is changed forever. As he learns about his sexuality, everything he knows is called into question, including his lifelong friend-ship with tomboy Louise, whose world is changing alongside his. Set in New Zealand's stunning Central Otago landscape, 50 WAYS OF SAYING FABULOUS carries the audience along with Billy as he embarks on life as teenager. Director Stewart Main says his film "celebrates difference and being true to one's self."

LOVING ANNABELLE

Loving Annabelle
with filmmaker Katherine Brooks and actress Erin Kelly in attendance for Q&A!

Audience Award for Outstanding Narrative Feature (tie) – 2006 Outfest

Grand Jury Award for Outstanding Actress in a Feature Film (Diane Gaidry) – 2006 Outfest

Inspired by the 1931 German lesbian classic Maedchen In Uniform, LOVING ANNABELLE is a riveting romantic tale of forbidden student- teacher love. At an all-girl Catholic boarding school, Annabelle is the sexy, rebellious new girl on campus. Her straight-laced poetry teacher, Simone, is in a tepid relationship with her boyfriend. It's not long before the flirtatious and naughty Annabelle begins bonding with her, unleashing buried passions and memories in Simone. With its subtly nuanced performances and unflinching look at a controversial relationship, this is a film truly worthy of its inspiration.
