Festival Passes & Packages Enzian Theater's mission "to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film" is fully realized during the Florida Film Festival. One of Top 10 Film Festival's in the World, the Florida Film Festival takes place in the heart of Orlando each March, showcasing the best American Independent and international documentaries and narrative films, edgier midnight movies, family films for everyone, Florida films, and incredible animation. Celebrating its thirteenth provocative year, the Florida Film Festival (March 5-14, 2004) has become the leading showcase for these films in the southeastern United States. Past year's guests include Oliver Stone, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, James Caan, Gena Rowlands, Steve Buscemi, William H. Macy, Leelee Sobieski, and Jason Lee. Festival seminars have included such film industry notables as Bingham Ray, Cliff Robertson, and Victor Nunez; cinematographers Haskell Wexler and Bill Butler; animator Bill Plympton; and producers Gale Anne Hurd and Roger Corman. In 2003, the Festival introduced NextArt: Dynamic Media and the Future of Entertainment. Produced collaboratively with the University of Central Florida with funding from Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, NextArt was a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind event that featured installations, performances, and panel discussions, nurturing emerging artists engaged in exploring the potential of digital technology by providing them with a unique venue, connecting them with like-minded creators, and exposing the community to the most inventive forms of art and entertainment in existence today. In 2004, NextArt will again unite educators, students, techies, and anyone interested in tomorrow's mind blowing future. The Florida Film Festival is distinguished by its casual atmosphere and sincere Southern hospitality and March is a fabulous time to visit Orlando, with an average temperature of 70 degrees. The Festival prides itself in extending that hospitality to the filmmakers who make it all possible. For ten wonderful days, the festival connects the community with artists and filmmakers. With 21,000 attendees and more than 100 filmmakers and special guests in 2003, the Florida Film Festival proved that it is the prime film event in Florida. But the Festival is not just about watching films. The Festival also brings the public an amazing slate of educational seminars, glamorous parties, and celebrity guests. Countless films and special events expand horizons, incite inspiration, and spark excitement that lingers long after the event has concluded. 2004 Florida Film Festival Platinum Pass - $600 The most treasured of all precious metals is platinum.
