Opera and ballet fans can purchase a season pass to either or both series and receive discounted admission and table reservation privileges. As always, Enzian Film Society members at the Contributor level and above may reserve a table to any opera or ballet performance and all regular programming year-round.

LA BOHEME (Liceu)
A warm coat, a glowing fire, a true friend, a lover’s kiss – “La Boheme” is the most romantic opera ever written. DON GIOVANNI (La Scala)
Mozart’s ultimate bad boy meets his match in Anna Netrebko, the opera world’s “hottest female star.” “Don Giovanni” stars Peter Mattei as the philandering Don, with Bryn Terfel as his sidekick Leporello and the velvety voiced Ms. Netrebko as the much-abused Donna Anna. This audience favorite, for both its surprisingly modern plot and soaring melodies, is broadcast from opening night at La Scala with Daniel Barenboim at the podium.

TOSCA (Royal Opera House)
Lust, treachery, and heartbreaking passion: “Tosca” has it all, set to one of Puccini’s most gleaming scores. With bona fide stars Angela Gheorghiu, Jonas Kaufmann, and Bryn Terfel heading the cast, the Royal Opera House pulls out all the stops in this decadent production by Jonathan Kent.
