Enzian to Showcase Summer Opera Series

Orlando, FL – (June 2, 2009) – Enzian has partnered with Emerging Pictures to bring the best in high definition opera from
around the world to Central Florida through a summer series of digital projection presentations beginning June 13.
Moviegoers will be able to enjoy productions of Verdi’s DON CARLO, RIGOLETTO and OTELLO as well as Mozart’s DON
GIOVANNI, Tcherniakov’s EUGENE ONEGIN, and Gounod’s ROMEO ET JULIETTE with most performances playing twice.
These productions were filmed at a selection of prestigious venues including La Scala, the Salzburg Festival, the Bolshoi at
L’Opera de Paris, and the Teatro Regio (Parma).
“At a time when the arts community is at a loss for a major venue for the opera, we’re excited for the opportunity to provide
Central Florida a summer long showcase of renowned performances on the big screen,” said Chris Blanc, General Manager.
Season passes are $99 and will provide patrons admission into six performances as well as first access to general admission
seating. Individual tickets are $20 or $17.50 for members of the Enzian Film Society. Tickets can be purchased online at

Emerging Pictures’ exclusive digital cinema Opera Series offers productions from a selection of world renowned venues. Since
December 2007, Emerging Pictures—in an exclusive collaboration with RAI Trade and the City of Milan—has been bringing
operas to digital cinemas. The operas were recorded live in gorgeous High Definition format with Dolby Digital surround sound.
