Enzian Announces Winners of the 20th Annual Brouhaha Showcase

ENZIAN ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF THE
20TH ANNUAL BROUHAHA SHOWCASE

Orlando, FL - (Nov. 21, 2011) – Enzian, Central Florida’s only full-time, not-for-profit cinema, announced today winners of the 20th Annual Brouhaha Film and Video Showcase. The event celebrated Florida’s best filmmakers offering a diverse lineup of experimental cinema, fiction narratives, music videos and animation.  A distinguished, three-member jury selected 11 winning entries, and new this year, the audience also awarded a favorite.  All winning films will screen at the prestigious Florida Film Festival, April 13-22, 2012 as part of the “Best of Brouhaha” program.

About Brouhaha:
Brouhaha is a premiere outlet for locally produced films and videos. This year’s event took place on Nov 19 & 20.  The lineup included nine FilmSlam winners and accepted works from Dr. Phillips High School, Full Sail University, Rollins College, University of Central Florida, Florida State University, Ringling College of Art and Design, Flagler College and Southeast Center for Photographic Studies at Daytona State/UCF.  The jury consisted of Roger Moore, Movie Critic, Robin Wright, Women in Film and Television, and Sylvia Caminer, Filmmaker and Producer.

Enzian is Central Florida’s only full-time, not-for-profit cinema for first-run independent and international films, classic revivals, documentary features, and select family entertainment. Enzian, a member-supported organization serving the community for 26 years, is home to the Florida Film Festival which attracts more than 25,000 guests annually and the Eden Bar.
