Summer Opera Series
June 13 – August 31, 2009
Showcasing the best in high definition opera from around globe, performances were filmed at a prestigiousselection of world renowned venues including La Scala, the Salzburg Festival, the Bolshoi at L’Opera deParis, and the Teatro Regio (Parma).

KidFest
July 18 – 26, 2009
A summer tradition including a week-long Young Filmmakers’ Summer Camp plus screenings of unusualand classic kid-friendly films

12th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival
September 22, 2009
One World, One Week, One Festival. A single showing of a brand-new program of the world’s greatestshort films, with audiences from more than 130 cinemas across five continents all voting for their favoritework during the same week.

Beyond Bollywood: The 15th Annual South Asian Film Festival
October 3 – 5, 2009
A three-day festival, co-presented with the Asian Cultural Association, celebrating South Asian(India/Pakistan) culture, heritage, and film artistry.

11th Annual Central Florida Jewish Film Festival
November 22 & 23, 2009
A two-day festival, co-presented with the Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando, featuringinternational films with universal themes and a particular relevance to the Jewish community

18th Annual Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase
December 5 & 6, 2009
The premier outlet for locally produced films and videos, the best work from film schools statewide andmonthly FilmSlam winners, and a fun-filled gathering for lovers of independent film. Representing theentire spectrum of Florida’s immense talent pool, the best of Brouhaha finds its way into the Florida FilmFestival.
